Walls and Shadows of Life

Poem written during the creation of the work.

Little words,

like a loving breeze,

speak to my being,

to break the hard shadows of navigating through life.

In the hope of the time,

which in every moment can contain a turn towards love,

I move my human being to these little words of love,

for they will enlighten and fade the shadows.

Original Dutch version of poem:

Kleine woorden,

als een zachte liefdevolle bries,

spreken tot mijn zijn,

om te breken de harde schaduwen van het bewegen in het leven.

In de hoop van de tijd,

die elk moment een wending naar de liefde kan bevatten,

beweeg ik mijn mens zijn naar deze kleine woorden van liefde,

die de schaduwen doen verlichten.
